Two weeks on from racing in Japan, F1 returns to action this weekend with the Chinese Grand Prix. Red Bull will be hoping to continue their strong run of form – but can their rivals pose a challenge at the Shanghai International Circuit?

There are lots of talking points entering into this event, with the race marking the first time that Formula 1 has visited China since 2019. Lewis Hamilton was the man to claim victory on that occasion, but plenty has changed since then and the margins appear fine between much of the pack this time around.

There's also the Sprint to contend with as it makes its debut appearance of the year. With the drivers heading straight into Sprint Qualifying on Friday after a sole practice session – before the Sprint takes place on Saturday – all will be keen to hit the ground running.

Can Max Verstappen add to his winning tally, or will Ferrari continue to close the gap? Could the key players in the driver market make an impression as talks over 2025 continue? And how will Zhou Guanyu perform as he becomes the first Chinese driver to race in front of his home fans?

Join Lawrence Barretto, Will Buxton and Alex Brundle as they discuss all this and more in the Chinese Grand Prix Weekend Warm-up.
